Originally uploaded by Scrapbookingal
I had to blog about this card. Not only is it my first Hero Arts card but, my first cuttlebug card and my first Fisk*a*teer card. I used watercolor pencils for the first time as well! It was so fun to make and is still one of my favorites!

‘Be Mine’ Tag
Eileen on January 21, 2009 in Scrapbooking, art tags, etsy shop, gems, hearts, valentine, vintage No Comments »This beautiful Valentine Tag with a Vintage Illustration and hand stamped with gems, has the look of nostalgia and is quite a piece of art. The edges are rough and inked and the ‘cherish’ half circle adds a nice touch. A red organza ribbon tops off this ‘Be Mine’ Valentine that will be cherished for years to come. Use as a gift tag, bookmark, or as a tag on a Valentine Scrapbook Page. Or simply hang it on your cubicle at work, it is sure to cheer anyone up. This is a one of a kind original art tag, handmade by Scrappingal57.

Scrapbooking & Photography Tips, How-To’s, & Papercraft Projects.
Welcome to my new Scrapping Blog, mostly about Scrapbooking, Photography, Paper Crafts and of course How-To's, Tips, and Free Projects for you to try. Some of my best photos and photo tips are shared here as well.
I am a Baby Boomer and I Love to scrap.
I Love my family and to scrapbook my family memories. I started scrapbooking before scrapbooking was 'cool' in 1999. My goodness it changes so fast and it is hard to stay up to date on all the newest trends. I have just started making cards for the instant gratification! Much faster and a smaller canvas then scrapbook pages. I still have to do a page or two here and there because I miss working with the photos and the journaling. I would love to be on a Design Team someday. Wouldn't that be fun?
I love to read and recently read Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult, Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski.
I love to listen to music, crochet, photography, walk my dog Sonny, a black cocker spaniel, and spend time with my children.
The Scrapbookin' Gal,
Eileen
