Thursday 13: Thirteen Things I Love about Scrapbooking
- PAPER. Lots and Lots of Paper. All paper, prints, solids, stripes, polka-dots, handmade, vellum, thin, thick, smooth, lumpy, textured, sleek, and all paper in between. Scrapbooking wouldn’t be near as much fun with all the pretty, touchable, tactical, texturized paper.
- PHOTOS. Digitial, film, prints, filed, old, new, negatives, slides, all the lovely photographs we have taken from generation to generation.
- CUTTERS. Scissors, die-cuts, all things that cut the PAPER and PHOTOS into the shapes we want.
- STAMPING. Rubber, clear, acrylic, funny, funky, crazy, embossing.
- STICKERS. 3D, frilly, funky, funny, letters, words, flowers, fonts.
- CHIPBOARD. Grunge board, decorated, painted, paper glued on, trimmed.
- COLORING. Pencils, pens, painter pens, crayons, watercolor pencils, watercolor paints, inking, ink dabbers.
- BLING. glitter, gems, charms.
- ADHESIVE. Glue Sticks, Herma Tabs, mega and mini dots, Dotto’s, double-sided tape, strips.
- JOURNALING. Record-keeping, writing, poetry, quotes, history, memories recorded.
- ARCHIVING. Preserving for future generations.
- SHOPPING. New stuff, new stash, new cute fun items that we must have NOW!
- CROPPING. Friendships, sharing ideas, finishing pages, getting things done and have fun.

The thing I like most about scrapbooking is finishing! I always want to get to the end so I can look at the book complete!
I have always thought about learning Scrap booking.
I don’t do scrapbooking, but I can see the appeal.
I love to scrap! I don’t do it nearly often enough. For me, I like everythng about it, but paper is my first love.

I am into genealogy and have made several scrapbooks but none as fancy as a true scrapbooker!
