American Idol-We lost Michael

Well, I have to say I wasn’t at all surprised about losing Michael Johns. He just didn’t perform well. I did feel sorry for him because unlike some of the other idols that have been booted off, he doesn’t have a uniqueness that will give him a lot of recording deals waiting in the wings. Although Dolly Parton did say something about coming to see her and she would put him to work immediately.

Okay, who have we got left? The final seven are-Brooke, Carly, David A., David C., Jason, Kristy, and Syesha. Tonight they will perform again and they are all going to have to be on their game. Each one has to have an outstanding, professional performance, in my opinion, or this will be their last gig.

We’ll see tonight who has what it takes to be the next American Idol. Who do you think will win it all? Who do you think will be in the top three-the bottom three?

American Idol-The David & David Show!

Here we go!! It was definitely interesting last night but, by far David Archuletta and David Cook stole the show. Jason Castro was also good but paled in comparison to the Davids.

Hey girls, Carly, Brooke, Kristy & Syesha! Time to step it up or step out. Kristy did surprisingly well and Syesha hit it again. Brooke didn’t have a prayer, she doesn’t have the lungs to do Mariah, and Carly looks and sounds the same on every song. She needs to quit singing so ‘angry’ and lighten it up a bit. Maybe she could smile in one of her songs or do a silly happy song like Jason does. Who knows.

Okay, time for the bottom three:

Carly Smithson
Brooke White (is who it should be, but it probably will be Syesha)
Jason Castro (He could go home tonight)

American Idol-Bye-Bye Kristy

Even though nobody thought she would make it this far, it was still sad to see Kristy go. She was starting to get in a groove with the Country Western style of singing but, Que sera, sera – what will be, will be.

So now we have to move on to the final six contestants. Next week there will be a bottom three and a top three and we already know who two of the top three will be. David and David. So who else can make it to the top with them? Will it be Carly? She could if she would just settle down a bit and be herself. What about Brooke? I doubt it, she just doesn’t have a strong enough voice. Should Syesha be up there with the coveted Davids? She is pretty good, we shall see. Let’s not forget Jason, will it be an all guys top three? We will have to wait and see.
